THE TORONTO PARTY is looking for passionate and concerned residents to run in the 2010 municipal election. A number of people have already expressed an interest to run in various Wards across our city.

If you are an individual who will stand up for the residents of Toronto, are fiscally responsible, and can think outside of the box, then we want you to join our team of candidates.

Please send your resume to thetorontoparty@yahoo.ca and label the subject line of your e-mail "candidate application". Also, please provide a cover letter to your application explaining why you would make a good city councillor or Mayoral candidate and what your goals are for Toronto.

Your application will be forwarded to our party's Nomination Committee and Election Readiness Committee for further assessment and consideration.

In addition, to become an official Toronto Party candidate, the candidate must collect 100 signatures of residents within the Ward in which the candidate is seeking office, and must complete and clear a criminal background check.
